As a Land Specialist Sr., you will ensure data integrity and accessibility across enterprise systems through strategic reviews and critical analyses. You will establish technical strategies, implement solutions that drive digital, data‑driven outcomes, and partner closely with the Land department to gather and document functional and system requirements.
You will also identify and deploy innovative tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data input, extraction, and reporting, while representing the Land Department as the Data Steward and mentoring other land professionals.
- Oversee data integrity across systems via strategic reviews, analysis, and quality control processes.
- Identify and implement innovative tools and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in designing, developing, and implementing tools and business process improvements.
- Analyze leases, title opinions, operating agreements, and other legal documents to identify provisions.
- Serve as Data Steward for the Land Department, mentoring other land professionals.
- Collaborate with peers, other departments, external partners, and royalty owners to resolve requests and issues promptly.
- Lead and support special projects that enhance and grow Land business needs.

Required education is a bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Business, or Land Management with six years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with ten years of land administration experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with data analytics tools such as PowerBI or Spotfire.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills.
- Experience with data analytics software (PowerBI, Spotfire), data extraction, automation, AI, and machine learning (TRDI preferred).
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; safety as top priority.
- Business acumen to solve complex problems, design and adapt new technologies, workflows, and processes.
- Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals.
