Shuttle Driver

Part‑time shuttle driver transporting residents to/from campus, handling vehicle maintenance.

Tasks

-The employee will be responsible to learn and schedule daily transportation runs as directed. -Employee is expected to adhere to all organizational, departmental, and transportation procedures in the performance of the position responsibilities -As required, fill buses with gas, check oil level, maintain vehicles' cleanliness and advise supervisor of any necessary preventative or scheduled maintenance needs -Provide transportation services when scheduled or on an emergency basis for residents. -Maintain and facilitate a caring, compassionate and understanding relationship with residents. -The assigned driver must report damaged equipment, including vehicle, lift or safety system immediately to their supervisor -The employee will be required to clean the inside and outside of all vehicles when not on a scheduled trip -The employee is expected to follow all traffic signs and obey laws. -The employee will respond and react in a kind, polite and professional manner to the residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors
