Oversee the design of a variety of projects, including urban regeneration schemes, pedestrian schemes, road or retail schemes, and maintaining the character of sites of natural beauty
Assess site potential to meet client’s specifications
Managing cross-functional teams, being a liaison with other professionals on the project
Attend public inquiries if necessary
Conduct preliminary studies of the site, including contours, soil, ecology, buildings, and roads. Prepare necessary environmental impact reports
Contacting and coordinating manufacturers and suppliers
Prepare and present detailed plans and working drawings, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project
May supervise interns on landscape architect projects
Generate new business opportunities
Make site visits
Present proposals to clients, handling all inquiries and negotiations

Good communication skills are important to adequately and professionally convey ideas and plans
Bachelors in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college or university; required
Skills and experience with sustainable site development master planning and green-build principles
Strong analytical and information integration skills
Ability to be a team player, able to work in a multidisciplinary setting on a wide range of projects
2-5 years of experience that can be a combination of education and training that demonstrates design competency to meet design and planning requirements of this position; required
Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture; preferred
All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
Able to prepare planting and irrigation plans and specifications for project permit approvals
