Keep up to date on technology advancements that related to Low Voltage and Power Conversion product portfolio through competitive benchmarking & technology landscaping, standards/ compliance pertaining to the region
Champion continuous capability and process improvements to support the Eaton Business System
Lead high complexity business critical New Product Development programs as Technical Project Leader and ensure flawless launch through PROLaunch process
Collaborate with business unit leaders & technology subject matter expertise to identify the technology gaps in executing the LVPC product roadmaps and plan the technology roadmap development and execution to close those gaps
Communicates effectively - develops and delivers multi-mode communication to diverse stakeholders
Leading the multidisciplinary functional engineering team of a high complexity program categorized as stranger or alien risk classifications to execute and achieve the technical product delivery targets according to the project schedule within the required development & product cost targets.
Providing technical guidance, functional work supervision and technical approvals for work done by technical experts/SMEs.
Drive the culture of boundaryless teamwork and leadership by influence especially in ambiguous situations while decision making and dealing with customers
Drive & champion the culture of Digital Design, Design for Six Sigma and Stage Gate Product Development Process
Developing LVPC business group level technology roadmaps and strategy in alignment to product road maps, propose & lead new technology introduction (NTI) programs working closely with other technology SMEs of the business.
Mentor technically set of team members, especially the subject matter experts in each of the LVPC businesses
Develop a solid understanding of existing plant level challenges of products LVPC product lines that leads to mfg. improvements as a part of current product engineering.
Collaboration with application and mfg. support engineers located globally & front face to engage customers on pursuits to define long term strategic objectives and establish / drive action plans to achieve the same

Demonstrated experience in managing & developing new processes, systems and tool
Experience working in North America or Europe for 1 or 2 years preferred
15+ years of industry experience in multinational organization with demonstrated ability to influence global and cross functional organization while working with OEM customers
In depth understanding and hands-on experience of working on relevant software tools and methods
Ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement cost effective solutions
Proven track record in engineering / R&D domain, demonstrated accountability & ownership in growing the portfolio, demonstrated tenacity and flexibility to reliably achieve goals
Strategic Agility - sees ahead clearly; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies & plans
Experience in Vehicle electrical domain will be preferred
Business Insights - Applies market and competition knowledge to advance organizational goals
