The helper supports safe practices, environmental commitments, and the company’s core values while maintaining clean housekeeping and 5S areas throughout the shift. Responsibilities include operating licensed lift trucks, completing required training, following supervisor instructions, and preparing production reports. The role also involves setting up extruder equipment, monitoring operation, and performing cut‑and‑curl tasks to meet production targets.
- Support safe practices and environmental commitments.
- Participate on safety committees as required.
- Train and instruct new or less experienced employees.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S areas clean and orderly.
- Operate licensed lift truck or material handling equipment.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor.
- Prepare production reports as directed.
- Set up extruder and related equipment, including temperature profiles and thermocouples.
- Configure sheet trim line, 3‑spindle winder, jacketing winder, and sheet stacker.
- Monitor extruder operation to ensure in‑spec PVC sheet production.
- Grind product sheet skeleton for reuse.
- Perform all Cut & Curl tasks independently at set production rate.
- Train new operators on Cut & Curl tasks.
- Inspect PVC sheets for compliance with finished product specifications.
- Power up machines, clean augers, inspect conveying hoses, and operate pull roll.
- Change edge trim knives, set up 2‑roll cut and sheet shear.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and disassemble processes as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions, delays, or product defects immediately.
- Process and package jacketing rolls and bulk rolls.
