Participate in all phases of commissioning projects which may include a variety of complex features, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of work.
Develop and administer functional tests for various building Mechanical systems, such as HVAC air and water distribution systems, air handling units, pumps, cooling towers, chillers, boilers, etc.
Participate in commissioning activity meetings.
Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.
Interface with construction contractors, vendors, and testing technicians.
Prepare commissioning test procedures and reports
Perform engineering design reviews, prepare commissioning test procedures and reports, direct clientsite testing and manage the training of onsite staff.
Planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of commissioning services for both new and existing buildings.
Prepare equipment prestartup and startup procedures; Development of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs); Comprehensive Commissioning documentation.
Prepare comprehensive reports; recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, list of deficiencies, equipment operation and maintenance manuals.
Develop and maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other tools to track commissioning projects.
Conduct tests and compile all testing procedure results.

High competency in technical writing, systems development and utilization.
This position will require domestic and/or international travel up to 75% of the time,
CXA, AABC, ACG certification a plus.

Previous experience working on a missioncritical facility construction site is a plus
Minimum of 2 years experience in an engineering service delivery organization/and or consulting /design environment with proven workrelated experience in MEP systems
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to a wide audience, including contractors, architects, engineers, and others with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
Data Center / Mission Critical Experience preferred
Knowledge of MEP systems and controls design, installation, and operation a plus.
LEED AP accreditation is a plus
Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (this role requires heavy amount of writing, documentation, and client interaction).
Proven track record of performing commissioning planning, functional testing, building performance investigation including recommissioning, retrocommissioning and/or preventative maintenance, and building system troubleshooting experience for new and existing buildings.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or accredited college or university a plus
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD.
