Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills with demonstrated ability to write effective technical reports.
Prior consulting experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience performing power systems analysis for electric utilities, ISOs, RTOs, and/or developers.
Good knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards with understanding of RTO and other regional planning criteria, procedures, and practices.
Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power and Energy Systems.
Experience analyzing power flow and dynamic stability using PSS®E, TSAT™, TARA, PSLF™, or PowerWorld.
Experience working in the MISO and/or SPP regions.
Industry experience performing power system transient analysis using PSCAD™ or EMTP-RV
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $100,450 – 206,640. An annual incentive target also is part of the compensation package for this position. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
