Track discrepancies and resolve billing issues with benefit carriers
Prepare and maintain biweekly employee reports, new-hire, and miscellaneous reports.
Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
Coordinate workers' compensation claims with the third-party administrator. Follow up on claims.
Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies. Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in HRIS and carrier platforms.
Administer employee incentive programs as they relate to Wellness and Engagement.
Administer COBRA.
Assist employees with troubleshooting benefit claims.
Assist the HR Manager in obtaining statistics and information in the renewal process of any health, life, and retirement plans that benefit the company.
Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA.
Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees. Complete annual benefits reporting requirements.
Review and respond to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation. Review monthly unemployment statements.
Prepare and assist with the open enrollment process
Conduct benefits orientations to educate new hires on benefits and the self-enrollment process.
Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in HRIS systems
Experience with data entry, record-keeping, routine audits, and file management.
At least two years of related experience required.
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of employee benefits administration.
