HVAC Controls Integration Technician

Description

Technicians handle programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC control systems, delivering front‑line technical support to customers.

• Provide a company vehicle, necessary tools, and equipment to complete all job tasks.
• Load Johnson Controls field and network controller software and perform system diagnostics.
• Calibrate sensors, actuators, and other devices using electronic test equipment.
• Complete commissioning documentation, timesheets, expense reports, and as‑built records.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, contractors, and management throughout each job.
• Follow Zero Harm safety standards and attend required safety training.

Requirements

Ideal candidates bring several years of experience with building automation systems, strong HVAC knowledge, mechanical and electro‑mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with tools and computer applications.

• 2–4 years experience with building automation systems (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Tridium, Trane, Automated).
• Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro‑mechanical fields.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, multimeters, and personal computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail, listening, and communication skills.
