- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, including field notes, sketches, maps, and reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any surveying-related issues that arise during the course of a project.
- Assist in the preparation of as-built surveys and documentation to ensure that project deliverables meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that surveying activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surveying technologies, methods, and industry best practices.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels, ensuring that all instruments are calibrated and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure that survey data is accurately interpreted and implemented.
- Conduct field surveys for various construction projects, including topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys.
- Perform accurate calculations and data collection for project layouts, including staking for grading, utilities, and structural elements.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all surveying tasks.
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS systems, and levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
