You'll work closely with project teams, service owners, IT operations, and business stakeholders to design services that are secure, resilient, and supportable from day one.
As an IT Service Design Lead, and you'll play a key role in shaping how new IT services are designed and transitioned into business-as-usual.
- Providing progress reports, highlighting risks, and resolving service design issues.
- Partnering with stakeholders to ensure operational teams are fully prepared for go-live.
- Leading service design activities across multiple IT projects, ensuring non-functional requirements and support needs are built into delivery plans.
- Championing a full-service lifecycle perspective, from design to retirement.
- Continuously improving service design processes, templates, and standards.
- Producing and securing sign-off of Service Design Packages (SDPs) and support models.
- Conducting service impact assessments, identifying service support requirements, risks, dependencies, and operational impacts.
