  • Verify accuracy of gauges and measuring instruments such as pressure, flow, temperature, pH, turbidity, and conductivity, document failure rates on specified equipment
  • Calibrate, trace, and correct control loop malfunctions; participate in the maintenance and production concerning instrument systems
  • Loop check wires from field to monitoring devices
  • Inspect/commission/calibrate instrumentation (pressure/level/flow)
  • Inspect/commission/calibrate analytical sensors (pH/chlorine/turbidity)
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems using electrical ladder schematics
  • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components
  • Site installations of electrical devices/motor controls
  • Wire modifications to panels per drawings
  • Navigate HMI programs to troubleshoot process upsets
  • Repair, test, adjust, or install electronic equipment such as industrial controls, instrumentation, transmitters, HMI, VFD, and PLCs
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation (pressure/level/flow)
  • Navigate PLC programs to troubleshoot process upsets
  • Configure parameters and troubleshoot VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)

  • Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Required to use various hand tools and calibration instruments
  • Experience writing routine reports and correspondence

  • Can perform Confined Space Work - Ability to enter into confined spaces
  • Use of Digital Multimeters
  • Can perform Elevated Work (Ladder/Lift) - Ability to climb ladders and stairs (at least 20 feet high) using proper safety equipment
  • Experience speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Regularly required to walk for long periods of time
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience completing the required paperwork associated with instrumentation calibration duties
  • Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and reach
  • Ability to travel required - Regularly required to drive to job sites
  • Troubleshoot electrical/control logic
  • Available for 24-hour on-call shifts
  • Understanding and practice of AC/DC Voltage measurement
  • Understanding and practice of DC Current (4-20mA) measurement
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • The ability to thrive in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
