Internal Sales Administrator

Description

Reporting to Operations & Admin Manager COE you will be the driving force behind our commercial success — supporting customers, collaborating with field sales, and helping our products shine in the market. If you love working with data and turning insights into smart decisions, this role is for you. This role will assist with the promotion and direct sales of our DLTR Next generation and Power panel daylighting products.

• Work closely with Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Provide feedback on Customer feedback, both positive and negative.
• During the growth phase of the product there will be a significant element of creating robust procedures, engaging in marketing activities including telephone cold calling, electronic marketing and similar promotional activities.
• Review weekly and monthly the quotation order bank and report issues and collate reports accordingly. V’s RW Volumes.
• Maintain simple, clear and thorough records and procedures.
• Update KPI Log on Volume and value of completed projects.
• Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
• Provide the customers with an excellent sales service experience in order to promote repeat sales.
• Establish good relationships with specifiers and consultants.
• Utilise the CRM system to maintain customer and project records.
• Provide feedback on issues that may affect the customer relationship.
• Dealing directly with customers to negotiate price, secure purchase orders and record win/loss ratio at the point of sale.
• Ensure excellent communication between Commercial departments and other divisions, (technical, operations etc…)
• Assist the commercial team (field based sales) by sending technical information, data sheets, drawings, NBS specifications and other technical supporting documentation as necessary to provide clarity of the Kingspan offer and confidence to the customer.
• Establish and develop strong relationships with direct transactional customers.

Requirements

• Strong ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and manage time effectively.
• Minimum of 2 years’ office experience, ideally within a direct sales position.
• Proven track record in internal sales, sales office, and/or telesales roles.
• Working knowledge of Kingspan products.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of the UK & Ireland construction industry and its key stakeholders.
• Understanding of different types of cladding systems used for roof and wall applications.
• Excellent numeracy skills with proficient use of spreadsheets.
• Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
• Proficient in using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines.
• Familiarity with Excel, SAP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems.
• Self motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong telephone manner and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Graduate or equivalent level of higher education.
• Enjoy working with data — interpreting trends, spotting patterns, and turning numbers into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with a technical sales approach and the ability to engage confidently with customers on product specifications.
