Prepare detailed drawings of civil/site designs for company. Coordinate design with site construction management team and engineering team, including issues of permitting and town codes for site design. Reports to Director, Right to Build department. Communicate with civil engineers, project managers, leasing agents and company construction management/executive personnel in determining work/ design information and details. Job interfaces closely with Leasing Department and Site Construction Management Department. Assist in resolving issues such as surveying, engineering, and environmental.

  • Prepare colored presentation plans for use by the management team in presenting projects, including issues of permitting and town codes for site design. Assist in resolving issues with construction issues such as surveying, engineering, and environmental issues.
  • Make changes for all site plan revisions at the request of leasing, construction personnel and executives. Review aerial or site drawings, and prepare site plans for retail, commercial, and industrial build.
  • Perform field visits to evaluate sites for conceptual planning.
  • Prepare detailed engineering site plans for use by construction department in preparing cost estimates; Prepare detailed engineering plans for minor projects.
  • Update tenant information on site plans. Maximize square footage on site drawings based on information provided by right to build, design, and leasing team.
  • Maintain Right to Build department drawing files and layering system
  • Prepare proposed site layout plans for commercial properties from, including reviewing municipal code requirements from general information provided including sketches, tax maps and aerials and prepare site plans for existing properties utilizing as-built surveys, aerial mapping and municipal GIS data.
  • Analyze various design requirements including landscape buffers, building setbacks and recommend possible solutions or alternate construction.
  • Evaluate zoning, and environmental code requirements with RTB department to ensure adherence to codes and regulations.

  • Minimum 1 (one) plus years’ experience in preparing site plans and engineering drawings for commercial/retail buildings.
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Adobe Photoshop preferred as well as experience in Photography Imagery.
  • 2-year degree preferred.
  • Experience in AutoCAD 2024 required and experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Adobe Photoshop preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
