- Supervision of junior engineers, technologists, and designers.
- Mentoring and coaching project teams including technical and field staff
- Planning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, project plans, schedules, and deliverables to execute high quality projects on time and on budget
- Managing of water/wastewater projects including scope, schedule, and budget as well as managing client relationships
- Preparation of conceptual, preliminary and final process designs of:
- Leading and participating in Business Development initiatives
- Leading studies and Class EAs for water and wastewater projects
- Preparing proposals and reports
- Providing senior review and professional authentication of memos, reports, drawings, and other engineering documents
- Liaising with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies and utility companies and contractors
- Providing project engineering and technical expertise, review of hydraulic calculations, analysis, and design services for various water/wastewater treatment facilities

- Proficient in the full range of design activities including preparation of studies, functional and detailed design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, construction administration and commissioning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and different stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of business issues associated with consulting engineering and planning.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant Canadian federal and provincial regulations.
- Experienced in meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, business/client development and other skills appropriate to consulting.
- Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) within the province of Ontario.
- Bachelor ‘s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven, advanced level Excel skills and a proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- 15 plus years progressive experience in water and wastewater engineering with at least 10 years working in a consultancy.
- Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination.
