Perform fitting and assembly operations necessary to build and assemble complete cores, torque and tension bolts and hardware per drawings.
Set up and operate robots, clean and detail cores.
Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores.

Requirements

Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms.
Successful applicants must be able to pass hearing, vision, and pulmonary tests. Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator.
High school education or equivalent.
Prefer to have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience.
Become familiar with all tools and equipment for generator core assembly.
Must be able to obtain fork truck and crane license.
Proficiency with shop tools – grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, wrenches, etc., and ability to choose optimal tool for the task. Required to lift / move 50 lb. materials.
