The SQL Database Developer II reports to the Development Lead within the Information Technology department. This full-time, exempt position (Grade 12) works 37.5 hours per week and is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft SQL-based relational databases and the suite of MSBA applications.
The role involves creating and maintaining databases that collect and analyze data from MSBA’s custom internal and client-facing web applications. The developer ensures data availability, handles security, backup, recovery, tuning, automation, and disaster-recovery planning, and participates in the full development lifecycle to meet business objectives.
