IOSH PSCS & PSDP Trainer

Description

• Support learners with professional queries, both during and after training delivery.
• Produce and update engaging training materials, presentations, and case studies.
• Deliver IOSH-approved PSCS and PSDP courses in line with current Irish legislation, industry best practice, and company standards.
• Participate in periodic course reviews to ensure content remains up-to-date and relevant.
• Assess learners’ understanding through exercises, evaluations, and knowledge checks.
• Provide clear, practical guidance on the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with IOSH requirements.

Requirements

We are seeking experienced, knowledgeable, and engaging IOSH PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage) and PSDP (Project Supervisor Design Process) Trainers to join our growing training team. This role involves delivering highquality, accredited training programs to construction professionals, ensuring they understand their legal duties and responsibilities under Irish health and safety legislation.

• Experience developing training content or e-learning modules.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a H&S role within the construction industry.
• Previous experience working as a PSDP/PSCS or advising on compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation, with specific expertise in Construction Regulations.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel (if delivering in-person training).
• Relevant qualification in Health & Safety (e.g., Level 7/8 Safety, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent).
• Ability to explain complex regulatory requirements in an accessible and practical way.
• Chartered Membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body.
• IOSH-approved Trainer status (PSDP / PSCS training experience essential).
