Lead the technical delivery of wells projects. This will include planning and operational support for well maintenance, interventions and workover operations, providing engineering input for any investigations or studies that are required by the clients. You will be a key member of our client’s team and will be a focal point for their projects that are being delivered by AtkinsRéalis.
Provide on-site engineering supervision of intervention operations at client sites. You will be a self-motivated person who takes pride in the quality of your work and the success of your projects.
Work closely with clients to build strong and trusted relationships.
You will actively engage in the development of the Wells team, sharing and collaborating with both technical and safety knowledge and practices.
You’ll provide technical directions and leadership to ensure that we deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions to the client. You will be on hand to provide advice, guidance and mentoring for all our team. You will work closely with all disciplines including mechanical engineering, QSSE, procurement and project management.
Use your knowledge and experience of wells to develop solutions to complex technical issues, communicating these solutions to the client and engineering them through implementation.
This role is for a Senior Well Engineer, with demonstrable intervention experience, to lead technical delivery of wells projects for our Energy Storage clients. The working location of the role is flexible but there will be a requirement to undertake site work for extended periods of time at our client locations.

Technical experience of well intervention engineering.

Degree qualified in an engineering discipline and/or have equivalent industry experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstratable knowledge of engineering approval practices.
Experience in leading meetings/workshops/presentations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experienced in creating and presenting technical reports.
Capable and confident in building and maintaining strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Expertise in a well-related discipline (e.g. e.g. wireline, coil tubing, snubbing, completions and workovers)
Knowledge and understanding of industry standards, guidelines and requirements.
