Reconcile monthly bank statement.
Regularly audit entry files to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Processing exports of project transport equipment in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Coordinate import activity with Brokerage Service Providers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure all customs operations are conducted timely and accurately.
Work with Transport team to develop customs budgets for projects and track budgets throughout execution. Provide regular budget status updates to stakeholders.
Ensure all project imports are conducted in compliance with applicable law and regulation as applied by the country of import.
Process duty drawback claims timely and in compliance with law and regulation.
Ensure all special trade programs (free trade agreements, transportation & exportation, temporary import bond, ATA carnet, etc) are executed properly and accurately.
Support all compliance activities related to applicable tariff actions.
Classification of imported articles according to the applicable harmonized tariff schedule, explanatory notes, customs ruling, other regulation and corporate processes

Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years equivalent professional experience in import/export compliance.
Experience with ACE reporting.
Balancing several tasks at once and adjusting to changing circumstances is crucial in this role.

Very experienced in harmonized tariff classification (HTS) and usage of Title 19 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Explanatory Notes (EN), Canada D Memo, Export Administration Regulations (EAR), etc.
Demonstrate effective phone skills and clear written and verbal communication.
Both analytical and solution oriented.
Must have CCS or CHB License.
Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required
