Tasks
-Maintain/update supplier details as and when required through submission of vendor master change form, ensuring vendor details remain current -Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures -Reconcile all assigned vendor accounts to statements and resolving disputes in a timely manner -Ensure that cash flow forecasts are prepared in a timely manner and monitor variances to budget -Review, sort and prepare invoices for processing and payment, including validation that the invoice details are in line ATO requirements -Raise cheques and distribute to ensure timely receipt by creditors and suppliers -Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and review outstanding balances -Prepare month-end allocations and accruals -Ensure records are filed and archived -Negotiation of contractual terms, variations and progress claims -Provide general administrative support as and when required -Prepare, review and disseminate month-end reports to appropriate personnel -Provide guidance to all staff on accounts payable procedures, ensure that GST requirements are correctly accounted for on all invoices and payment requests -Address and respond to internal and external vendor enquiries and follow up any outstanding items with the responsible personnel -Contractual management of design providers -Prepare and process electronic transfer payments (EFTs) to creditors and distribute remittance advices

What You Bring
-5 -10 years’ of relevant commercial experience in the construction and engineering industry -2-5 years’ experience working as a Contracts Manager in the construction and engineering industry -Intermediate to advanced proficiency in relevant software packages such as Microsoft Suite (including Excel) and exposure to a contract management system (CRM) -Construction Management qualification or equivalent CA/CPA -Demonstrated application of Corporate Limits of Liabilities and contractual and commercial systems, processes and procedures -Post graduate qualification in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Business or associated discipline -Bachelor degree or equivalent in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Business or associated disciplines
