  • Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating once hazard removal is complete
  • Working collaboratively with surveyors and other trades to address root causes
  • Preparing surfaces, including plastering, rendering, and making good
  • Undertaking minor maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry and plumbing
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Responding to reports of damp and mould, completing emergency works within 24 hours and non-emergency works within 7 days
  • Cleaning and treating affected areas using safe, effective methods
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Physical fitness and confidence working at height

  • A full, valid UK driving licence
  • A solid understanding of damp, mould, and the requirements of Awaab’s Law

  • A recognised qualification (NVQ/BTEC) or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in painting/decorating
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
