Contracts Manager

Description

• Liaise with production and planning to ensure product is manufactured to specification and on time
• Raise purchase orders to suppliers, monitor progress, book in goods received on Sage system
• Raise all manufacturing process documentation * Liaise with suppliers to gain optimum supplier agreements
• Define and record project requirements
• Liaison with internal and external customers in order to arrange ironmongery deliveries to co-ordinate with doorset delivery programme.
• Request POD’s from suppliers and invoice internal customers
• With supervision, direct and manage projects from beginning to end
• Liaise with customer to ascertain full manufacturing requirements
• Continued estimation through full contract cycle to completion
• Liaise with site to request information to process (e.g. Kickplates / Cylinder suiting details / door numbering).
• Comply with the Health and Safety responsibilities
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools * Pro-actively manage changes in project scope

Requirements

• Have an enthusiastic approach to learning all aspects of the business
• Ability to work across multiple projects and prioritise tasks appropriately
• Technical knowledge of ironmongery desirable
• Detailed and methodical
• Confident decision maker
• Good problem-solving skills, able to address or escalate if necessary
• Good organisational and communication skills, able to plan to meet deadlines
• Competence in Microsoft Office and Sage desirable
• The ability to work within a team and individually
• Good communication skills
