The Programme Delivery Executive (Regen) – Submarines role is based on‑site in Derby and sits within the Infrastructure Delivery Business Unit. The incumbent will lead the Regen infrastructure programme, overseeing delivery leads across component projects and implementing optimal ways of working with internal teams, the programme sponsor and supply‑chain partners.
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, the Executive is accountable for programme performance, governance of Heads of Delivery and executive interfacing with tier‑one fissile supply‑chain partners. They act as deputy for the Director when required, hold commercial accountability for design and delivery partners, and contribute to the Senior Leadership Team’s strategic direction.
Key duties include driving supplier performance, championing collaboration with the business sponsor and long‑term partners, and leading an integrated RR and supply‑chain team to embed best‑in‑class project and programme management practices. The role also ensures robust programme health monitoring—covering budget, schedule, quality, health & safety and additional KPIs—and upholds compliance with governance, standards and a zero‑harm policy.
