

Provides construction, maintenance, and fabrication services for industrial, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Operators will run various dozer sizes (D8‑D10) to complete assigned work, read stakes, grade as needed, and perform safety checks, walk‑arounds, and hazard assessments before each job. They must report equipment issues, repairs, incidents, near‑misses, and adhere to company, client, and legislative safety policies.
The hiring process includes providing a driver’s abstract, completing pre‑employment testing (breath alcohol, drug test, health assessment, audiometric, vision, criminal record), and completing new‑hire paperwork before orientation. Onboarding typically takes 3‑8 business days, after which candidates receive start‑date details.
Candidates need at least one year of mining experience operating bulk‑pushing dozers on overburden and soft ground, a safety‑first attitude, strong listening skills, a high school diploma (or equivalent), proficiency in English, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license. Additional certifications such as CSO/BSO, silica, wildlife, H2S, and OHS awareness are required for onboarding.
NACG is hiring Dozer Operators for a remote mining site near Fort McMurray, offering up to $51.29/hour combined rate and opportunities for growth. The role is on the Suncor site with a 14x14 schedule of 12‑hour shifts, paid for 12 hours, days and nights.
Accommodations are not provided, but transportation is offered via bus from Fort McMurray before and after each rotation. Overtime is paid after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week, and the position is unionized with IUOE Local 955.
