You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers in a well-equipped facility, operating CNC machines using Heidenhain and Fanuc (Okuma) control systems. While direct experience with these systems is advantageous, experienced CNC Machinists from other backgrounds will be able to adapt quickly.

We are looking for a qualified CNC Machinist to join a specialist engineering team on a high-profile infrastructure programme based in Acton.

We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position. This position will require some additional checks, to ensure you can access the site worked as needed.

CNC Machinist (Rail Sector)

  • Demonstrable CNC machining experience (preferably in heavy industry or transport sectors)
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with Heidenhain and/or Fanuc (Okuma) systems
  • Engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are essential
  • Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
