Responding to community and stakeholder enquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project objectives.
Supporting stakeholder briefings, toolbox talks, and presentations to enhance internal and external awareness.
Monitoring the effectiveness of engagement activities and contribute to continuous improvement.
Working closely with construction teams to ensure stakeholders are notified ahead of impactful works.
Preparing project notifications, updates, and content for a variety of communication channels.
Supporting the implementation of communications and engagement strategies that mitigate construction impacts and maintain public confidence.
Assisting in identifying risks, emerging issues, and opportunities, escalating to the Community Engagement Lead as required.

Competency with Office Suite and basic desktop publishing tools.
Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or similar, or equivalent relevant experience.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong culture charter
3+ years’ experience in communications and stakeholder engagement, ideally on a major infrastructure project.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organisational, planning, and project-coordination skills.
