What you would be doing

- Ensure full legal compliance in all areas to include service, maintenance, repair, MOT, and tachograph compliance
- Manage inhouse and mobile technicians to ensure the maximise utilisation of available technician hours and reviewing against manufacturer standard times
- To undertake management control of both external service providers, inhouse workshop & mobile technicians
- Defines the strategy to develop the operation as a whole by identifying and sharing continual best practice protocols
- Manage workshop operating costs, overtime requirements, ensuring overheads are managed in accordance with agreed fleet budgets
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the fleet, maintenance budgets
- Leads and motivates staff through positive employee engagement through open communication
- Manage & control expenditure to ensure the fleet is fully maintained and operate in full legal compliance whilst managing maintenance costs within the agreed fleet budgets
- Review, plan, and allocate work activities for internal workshop and mobile technicians

- Good analytical, budget management and numerical skills
- Strong Management skills and experience of leading static and mobile teams
- Ability to Coach and Mentor and develop staff where appropriate
- Good knowledge of Microsoft / Excel applications
- Experience of providing exceptional customer service
