Ensures compliance with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures.
Monitors building conditions and recommends solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and completes repairs with minimal supervision.
Provides guidance and support to Building Technician I staff as needed.
Assists in the installation, replacement, and adjustment of building components and systems.
Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general building systems.
Maintains accurate records of work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Responds to service requests, work orders, and emergency situations promptly.
Communicates with building occupants and clients, providing a high level of customer service.
Valid driver’s license required.
2-4 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities services, or mechanical systems.
Basic computer skills and experience with CMMS preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment with moderate complexity.
High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks.
