In this role you will drive operational excellence for nbn’s Cyber Security Practice by turning strategy into measurable outcomes, building performance analytics, maintaining governance frameworks, and supporting risk and compliance operations. You will develop dashboards and reporting packs that deliver actionable insights, coordinate operational cadences, and ensure alignment with frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0, the ACSC Essential Eight and the SOCI Act. You will also work with operational teams to uplift processes, mature response playbooks, and define tooling and automation requirements to reduce manual effort.
The position is pivotal in enabling CSP to make risk‑informed decisions, demonstrate control effectiveness and contribute to national resilience objectives.
The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in cybersecurity, governance or performance analytics, a strong understanding of cyber security standards, risk management and compliance frameworks, and the ability to create executive‑ready reports that translate complex data into strategic insights. Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, SIEM/SOAR and GRC platforms, excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability are essential, as is a degree in Engineering, Science, Cyber Security or Business and eligibility for a national security clearance.
