Grounding Analysis Intern

Description

• Organize project materials, references, and documentation.
• Assist with the development and documentation of grounding calculations per industry standards, best practices, and client requirements
• Assist with the development of computer models used for detailed grounding calculations (CDEGS, WinIGS, etc.).
• Collaborate with other disciplines and schedule project deliverables.
• Organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems.

Requirements

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Relevant coursework or knowledge in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations.
• Problem-solving skills, effective written communication, and the ability to build relationships.
• Hands-on experience at an employee-owned engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction company
• Understanding of engineering design principles and design guides.
