Utilize basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories.
Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member on a variety of EHS projects, including but not limited to: health and safety related surveys and assessments, hazardous material surveys, environmental site assessments, multi-media site investigations, environmental audits, and environmental compliance plans and permitting.
Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

Must have a valid U.S driver’s license and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
Ability to conduct field work.
EPA AHERA asbestos inspector accreditation.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or in another related field.
OSHA 10-Hour trained.
Experience with database development, usage, and data analytics.
This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The selected candidate must be available to work in Fort Lauderdale, FL on a scheduled basis.
Willingness/ability to be in the field and travel.
Air modeling and/or permitting experience.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Travel is required for this position.
Strong working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications, including MS Word, and Excel.
Excellent technical writing and organizational skills.
Prior related intern and/or professional experience.
HAZWOPER 40-Hour trained.

Ability to perform detail-oriented work.
Autodesk and/or ArcMap proficiency.
Entry-level position in AECOM’s Environment Business Line within the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Technical Practice Area; position will report to EHS Department in AECOM’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.
