Experience and skill in application of CAD software, specifically Civil 3D and associated civil software packages are highly desirable.
At least 1 year of experience working on GDOT projects preferred
Civil/site engineering and design for government buildings, test stands, recreational facilities, roadways, parking lots, laboratory facilities, etc.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
Ability and willingness to assist designers, drafters, and other staff members where needed.
Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
Ability to carry required instruments and equipment
1-3 years’ experience with Geotechnical engineer knowledge
1-3 years’ experience preparing Geotechnical Engineering reports, including site investigations, soil analysis, and foundation recommendations
Ability to lift 50 pounds
The worker is subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including but not limited to extreme cold and heat.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners including clients, sub consultants, and utility companies
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Slope Stability Analysis
