This entry‑level, full‑time, non‑exempt position is located at 3750 Centerview Dr, Chantilly, VA. The role reports to the local branch manager and involves handling a variety of branch‑specific and company‑wide tasks, such as answering phone calls, relaying messages, and updating databases. The employee must maintain continuous communication with branch staff, managers, and other company personnel.
The dispatcher duties include promptly answering incoming calls using the call‑flow program, transferring calls from clients, third‑party administrators and adjusters to the appropriate project manager or department, and handling “call‑in” requests according to company guidelines. The employee also dispatches assignments and directs sales leads to emergency service personnel, updates internal and external databases, and audits data for accuracy and compliance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and six months to one year of customer‑service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required skills include pleasant oral communication, the ability to read and interpret safety and procedural documents, and proficiency with databases, internet, spreadsheet, and word‑processing software.
The position requires regular sitting, occasional standing and walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 lb. The work environment is a professional office with moderate noise levels, and reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
