Tasks

Work encompasses all aspects of project management and engineering of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. -Writing technical reports, letters, project summaries, and emails. -Project coordination and communication with construction managers, contractors, owners, construction inspectors, and permitting agencies. -Project management assistance on several types of land development projects including client coordination, contract negotiation, developing and maintaining project schedules, and maintaining project budgets. -Construction observations, preparing field observation reports of construction activity, and witnessing critical tasks during construction. -Supervising permit technicians and administration in completing permit applications and moving permit application process forward. -Supervising CAD designers and project coordination with other departments, professions, and agencies.

What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) license required. -Plan drafting experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred. -5+ years’ experience in land development type projects preferred. -Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects. -BS in Civil Engineering -Strong written and verbal skills are required. -Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook required. -Must have an excellent driving record and have a valid driver’s license as driving is an essential part of the position.
