Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
Provides clear documentation of findings and results
Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects. Perform pre-task planning prior to executing work.
Communicate with project manager, other engineering technicians, client representative, contractor’s representative and others as applicable regarding the construction site and project requirements.
Under close supervision of higher level technicians or staff professionals, assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations duties
Transport material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. Prepare and submit reports as work is performed for daily transmittal to the Terracon Project Manager.
Typically work will be performed in a team setting with one other lead technician. Other responsibilities will include laboratory testing, other field testing, and supervision of hired subcontractors.
Maintain assigned equipment
Submits documentation and communicates results as directed by the Project Manager
Communicates information to Project Manager and discusses accuracy of data in preparation for submittal
Assist in pile load testing and other types of field testing relating soil conditions and strength. You’ll be fully trained by an experienced lead technician and manager in order for you to become a lead.
