The role is a Training Consultant on the Construction Industries Training team within Caterpillar’s Customer Solutions Core Regions Division, responsible for supporting the Training Transformation initiative.
Key responsibilities include developing and delivering training modules, courses, and programs for the new Learning Experience Platform (LXP) to ensure relevance and an exceptional user experience, as well as reviewing and maintaining training materials for quality and compliance.
The consultant acts as a Super User, Senior Administrator, and manages user access for the LXP, designs site layouts, applies AI optimization, curates the content library, creates instructional designs, conducts live system demos and advanced troubleshooting, and evaluates new training methods for future dealer programs.

The position requires consulting business partners on training requirements, traveling up to 20% domestically and internationally, and applying core skills in customer focus, consulting, relationship management, and training operations.
Top candidates can drive change in complex organizations, build internal and external partnerships, exhibit lean and agile thinking, possess high emotional intelligence, demonstrate resilience and agility in ambiguity, collaborate across business units, and have proven change‑management and strategic problem‑solving experience.
Preferred experience includes progressive work in digital training or learning roles, acting as an architect for new training platform launches, and operating in international, highly matrixed environments.
The position requires five days onsite work, offers relocation assistance, does not provide visa sponsorship, is conditional on a successful drug screen, and reflects Caterpillar’s commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and a culture built on integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment, and sustainability.
