Maintenance Technician

Description

As a Customer Service Operative, you’ll be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance in occupied properties, including carpentry, plaster patching, decorating, and other general multi-trade tasks. You’ll ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and with the customer at the heart of everything you do.

• Adhere to Harron Homes’ Health & Safety policies and site regulations.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and stock to support reliable service delivery.
• Undertake agreed remediation and maintenance works to the highest standard.
• Provide a proactive, customer-focused service, maintaining excellent relationships with residents.
• Clean and tidy worker with respect for customers’ homes.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding issues and updates.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Team to report recurring issues and complete inspections.
• Source and manage materials efficiently to ensure work is completed on time.

• Proven experience in multi-trade maintenance, customer service, or housebuilding.
• Strong multi-trade experience and knowledge of building standards.
• Qualified in a relevant trade or multi-trade, or equivalent experience.
• Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, technical).
• Ability to rectify defects and problem-solve effectively.
• Understanding of build and NHBC standards.
• Competent in planning, time management, and diary organisation.
