The Service Technician plays a vital role in the customer journey after installation, partnering with customers to inspect and service existing foundation repair and water management solutions. They also support customers by offering additional solution options and addressing ongoing needs.
Key duties include executing scheduled appointments, traveling to customers' homes, and building long‑term relationships while professionally representing the company. Technicians recommend additional products and services, perform annual maintenance visits, diagnose and fix reactive service issues, and install purchased products as needed. They follow safety regulations, assess work for warranty eligibility, and communicate job status and documentation to the Service Manager.
Qualifications sought include at least one year of proven sales experience (preferred but not required), construction or home‑improvement background, and strong customer relations experience. A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and a valid, non‑restrictive driver’s license are required.
The role demands physical stamina, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy loads, as well as good manual dexterity and coordination. Employees must be able to read reports, data, and computer screens while maintaining excellent stamina throughout the workday.
Groundworks prides itself on rapid growth built on a rock‑solid foundation, offering each employee the chance to impact the industry, set new standards, and deliver solutions customers love. Guided by core values, the company invites prospective team members to join and help shape a brighter future.
