Senior Structural Engineer - Dams

Description

As part of our industry‑leading Dams team you will collaborate with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers. You can base yourself in Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth, or Melbourne offices.

• Perform structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and related structures.
• Design dams and structural components from conceptual to detailed stages.
• Inspect, investigate, and assess condition of existing dams.
• Provide construction support, including work inspections, quality control/assurance evaluation, and reporting.
• Prepare tender documents and proposals while mentoring junior engineers.
• Develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry associations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated capability in structural design, producing design reports, drawings, and specifications (preferably within the dam industry).
• Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
