The Regional Service Dispatcher – Medium Voltage is tasked with ordering service parts, scheduling field labor, and submitting manufacturer warranty claims within defined response times for all medium‑voltage repairs. The role involves reviewing stock locations, communicating logistics options to repair providers, and monitoring service case priorities to meet SMA’s service commitments. The dispatcher also serves as a backup for field service dispatching and parts.
Key duties include assigning repair activities to SMA field resources and external providers via the Salesforce Planning Board, monitoring dispatch queues, and aligning parts and labor to meet service‑level agreements. The dispatcher ensures medium‑voltage issues are escalated to manufacturers, conducts quality control of dispatched cases, coordinates customer availability, and verifies that completed service reports contain required details.
Candidates must have at least an associate’s degree in business, logistics, a technical field, or equivalent experience, and basic medium‑voltage training. Preferred experience includes working with field service teams and exposure to renewable energy or medium‑voltage distribution. Required skills encompass proficiency in customer‑service ticketing systems, Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve operational complications.

Compensation ranges from $29.00 to $30.50 per hour, complemented by comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage (including $0 premium options) and a 401(k) plan with company match. The position is fully remote for non‑Sacramento applicants, while Sacramento‑based employees follow a hybrid schedule of in‑office Tuesdays and Thursdays.
