Overview

Architectural designer for a large healthcare facility, handling design, BIM and visualizations.

Tasks

-Review shop drawing submittals with guidance from the Project Architect. -May take on a leadership role within the team on a particular project issue or topic. -Participate in project coordination with other disciplines. -May participate in site visits. -Independently and under direction, contribute conceptual design and provide architectural design as part of a multi-disciplinary team; including design, material selection, coordination and architectural development. -Attend and actively participate in project team meetings. -With direction, contribute to production of the BIM model and associated deliverables. -Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts including 3D design visualizations and other illustrative graphics.

What You Bring

-Travel required. -Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required. Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program preferred. -Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required. -Professional business attire is required for client meetings. Examples of professional business attire includes suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses and skirts. -Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects. -Experience with one or more real-time rendering and 3D rendering software such as Enscape, Twinmotion, and/or V-Ray required, as demonstrated through a portfolio of past and current visualization work. -LEED accreditation preferred. -Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States preferred. -Some experience in computational design tools such as Grasshopper and Dynamo preferred. -Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
