Conduct site walks, obtain site-specific documents, and assist with design strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally across departments and represent the team when managing site-specific designs.

Coordinate with and provide to survey vendors clear scopes of work.
Prepare construction drawings for land development, equipment rooms, or buildings, as well as network designs that comply with building codes, AutoCAD standards, and engineering principles. Maintain site-specific digital twin documents following construction.
Complete engineering analyses and code research related to the specific engineering discipline (i.e., structural, stormwater drainage, computational fluid dynamics, and heat load analyses, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field, required.
For applicants with a degree in a related engineering field, a minimum of 2 years of telecommunication tower design and analysis, 4 years of construction or field engineering of steel structures, and/or 4 years of civil/electrical/mechanical engineering experience required.
Understand and implement appropriate specialty engineering design requirements for projects (i.e., related to access road design and repair; grading, drainage and stormwater design; or building structural, electrical and mechanical design or network fiber/power, and RF connections/racking) associated with your discipline and expertise.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
For applicants with a Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree, a minimum of 1 year of telecommunication tower design and analysis, construction or field engineering of steel structures, and/or civil/electrical/mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Experience with AutoCAD and an ability to become proficient with either Civil 3D, Revit, or iBwave and including course work in civil and stormwater analyses; mechanical, structural, or power design; and analysis.
Triage low to moderately complex projects and understand their requirements and supplemental documentation.
Fundamentals of Engineering license preferred.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
Approximately 30% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
