  • Perform advanced level wind turbine remote operations and Support during night shift
  • Communicate pertinent information to key individuals and the field
  • Participate in RCA, continuous improvement and lean initiatives
  • Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job appropriate processes and procedures and communicate through appropriate channels
  • Independently initiate and perform most work tasks as well as follow defined instructions as directed according to written and verbal instructions
  • Will refer complex customer inquiries to higher level technical staff or manager
  • Manage Escalations through undertaking and interpreting WTG data and demonstrate strong customer service
  • May assist with or perform basic quality audits of operations
  • Enhance team competencies by sharing knowledge, support team to navigate through complex technical issues
  • Effectively gather information remotely regarding turbine issues and performance
  • Should diagnose, recommend, and implement solutions for turbine equipment
  • Follow basic structured problem-solving process to perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks with remote SCADA and IT diagnostic tools
  • Perform medium operational performance analysis and execute strategy to ensure targets are achieved
  • Seek assistance when encountering turbine issues outside trained skill level to ensure success in resolution
  • Interface with customer and may respond to customer inquiries

  • Minimum 3-5 years technical in wind industry experience
  • Experience in Wind Turbine operation and maintenance or wind turbine remote operations and support or Wind Turbine testing or relevant Wind turbine technical exposure through which there is a good technical understanding of different functionalities
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to understand technical language and to recognize and differentiate technical issue
  • Should have Wind Turbine Field experience and hands on experience in gear box, systems, and controls
  • Willing to work in rotating shift pattern based on business needs
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, and PPT
  • Familiarization of SAP front end. Perform advanced operational performance analysis and execute strategy to ensure targets are achieved
  • Previous experience in night shift will be an added advantage
  • Should have good communication skills to handle Global stake holders
  • This role may require travel, including working a flexible and variable work schedule as needed to meet business objectives
  • Demonstrated use and understanding of intermediate IT tools
  • B.E in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent education
  • Experience in remote operation and diagnostic tools, SAP front end, analytical tools like SQL & Power Bi will be an advantage
