We are seeking a permanent Assistant Commercial Manager to support delivery teams across a variety of contracts, including NEC4 and bespoke agreements. The role involves reviewing and analysing cost and value reports, assisting with budgetary control and forecasting, and providing contractual guidance to account and project managers.
Embedded within the consulting commercial team and the operational accounts, you will work daily with account managers, project managers, finance and operations colleagues to embed commercial best practice, maximise value and minimise risk for Amey and its clients.
Candidates should have relevant experience as an Assistant Commercial Manager, be working towards membership of a professional institution and possess strong MS Excel and Word skills. The ideal applicant can work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and has experience supporting design, consulting or infrastructure contracts, as well as excellent relationship‑building and communication abilities.
This position offers exposure to a multidisciplinary contract environment within a growing design and consultancy contracts team, providing a dynamic and challenging workplace.
