As Business AI Lead – Engineering, you will identify, develop, and scale AI solutions that enhance productivity, reliability, and innovation across our full engineering value chain.

You will collaborate deeply with capability owners in Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Test, and Manufacturing engineering to automate key workflows, improve design quality, and reduce engineering cycle time — all while ensuring that outputs remain accurate, secure, and compliant.

The Business AI Lead – Engineering will be central to this transformation, helping our engineers use AI as a co‑engineer: accelerating design iteration, simulation, validation, and manufacturing readiness.

  • Deploy AI copilots, simulation tools, and optimization engines into engineering workflows.
  • Work with IT to integrate AI into PLM, CAD, test, and data systems.
  • Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics
  • Partner with Engineering Capability Owners to align AI initiatives with maturity targets.
  • Identify high‑impact use cases across R&D, validation, and production engineering.
  • Use AI‑driven insights to accelerate design-for-excellence reviews and failure analysis.
  • Measure and report automation, accuracy, and adoption metrics.
  • Define measurable performance gains and lead pilot‑to‑scale deployment cycles.
  • Support DFX and reliability efforts with predictive analytics.
  • Ensure secure handling of engineering data and models.

1.AI Enablement for Engineering

  • Background in robotics, industrial automation, or aerospace product development.
  • 7+ years in engineering leadership, R&D operations, or data/AI enablement within complex hardware or robotics systems.
  • Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives
  • Deep understanding of software or hardware engineering workflows and tools.
  • Experience with generative design, code copilots, or AI‑assisted verification.
  • Experience applying AI or ML models to design, simulation, test, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with DFX, reliability, and PLM integration.
  • Strong cross‑functional communicator with a track record of operational improvement.
