Establishing and maintaining a climate favorable to the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of engineering work
Preparation of all technical documentation required for the execution of the project (Technical studies, Design basis, Conceptual Designs, Detailed designs, technical specifications, Field work, Tender Phase services, Construction Phase Services and Record drawings)
Assembling and owning the project delivery program and delivery plans; providing project reports on a regular basis to convey cost and schedule information in a timely manner
Identifying and agreeing project objectives with the client and developing a strategy for achieving these.

Setting objectives, and defining tasks for the project team, delegating authority and agreeing with the project director how risks will be shared as necessary.
Identify, communicate, and manage change effectively and on the appropriate level.
Successfully deliver the project as per agreed targets, e.g., program, budget, and quality.

Minimum 20 years relevant experience, in a large corporate environment with preference given to professional services environments.
Self-directed and self-motivated
Effective in problem solving and managing conflict situations.
Proven track record of effective teamwork, organizational development and leadership.
A track record of successful management of large-scale projects, EPC or EPCM projects with appropriate references.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Must have University degree and/or MBA in Engineering, Business or related discipline.
Open to travel to meet the client’s requirements
Strong knowledge of mining industry
Significant experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to recruit the right talent for the project’s needs. Act as a leader and a team player who is decisive, fair minded and collaborative with a true concern for the wellness of people.
