Knowledge of separation criteria used in the nuclear industry for power and instrumentation cable
Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Practical field experience
US Citizen or Green Card holder with current or past clearance to work on nuclear projects
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Previous experience using safety related software (ETAP Nuclear, etc)
Familiarity with nuclear industry codes, standards, and regulations that apply to the electrical design of nuclear power plants, including NRC regulations
Previous experience with Electrical design for a safety class environment
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Experience executing engineering work under an ASME NQA-1 quality program
DC Power System design with batteries and DC switchgear
Previous experience with nuclear power plant design
