Experience designing, executing, and interpreting corrosion experiments—preferably under applied load in simulated reactor environments.
Working familiarity with molten salts, lower temperature corrosion, and failure analysis using microstructural characterization techniques would be beneficial
Demonstrated expertise in SCC mechanisms, high-temperature corrosion, and / or electrochemical testing in nuclear-relevant environments.
Excellent communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to engage both clients and colleagues.
A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Materials Science, Corrosion Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field.
