Support Communications between Engineering and Production
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Assist Engineering, Production, and Set-up personnel with tooling set-ups and new tooling process verification.
Manage new tooling projects through Tool Room to project deadlines.
Work with Engineering and Maintenance for Hydraulic and Pneumatic requirements.
Mark up drawings for “as built” conditions for Engineering updates.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
Construction, Assembly, and Repair of fixtures, dies and jaws.

Prefer Journeyman Tool & Die maker or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years of tool room experience)
Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
CNC programming.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Able to read and understand inspection tools. (Micrometers, calipers, comparator).
HS Diploma/GED
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must also pass a skills-based test.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Must be able to understand decimals, fractions, and tolerances.
Ability to program CNC equipment, and safely operate standard Tool Room equipment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
